I'll spending the afternoon playing with DocBook.  Maybe it's not as bad
as I think it is.  

If the initial authors make good a reference of their work, then
``copycat'' followers-up might not have a really hard time.  I'm open to
the idea, but still suspicious.  :)

Yes; any decent search engine should point you to a convenient copy.

There's some good content; it just needs to be spliced together and tweaked
to fit the audience.
