Hi freeradius-users,
I download freeradius and installed it in a red hat linux server(Fedora core 4).

I configure the client ip in /etc/raddb/clients.conf and test the radius server.

When i type 'radtest test test localhost 0 testing123' ,the response is ok.

But when i use a real client to test the server ,the debug information is:

'Ignoring request from unknown client ....'. Why?

Can you help me to analyse what the problem is ?

The clients.conf file :

client 10.10.12.3 {

secret = abcde

shortname = e2200

}

The ip of radius server is 10.10.11.14 but from radius server I can ping the client 10.10.12.3. The route is ok.

Regards!

yinkai

Email:kai.yin at ccwbb.com

           2005-09-25
