but it still works with '==', why?

I see radius gets username from peap message (if it is not in identity)
and do the sql query (it returns 1 row)
and gets the password also from peap message and then says
  rlm_eap_peap: Tunneled data is valid.
  rlm_eap_peap: Success

Of course the password must be correct :-).

Can anybode describe how the rlm_sql works? What does it do? there is not
much in documentation for rlm_sql.
