Error with EAP-PEAP

Hi,
i still have problem to configure my RADIUS server for 802.1x authentication.
The OS is Ubuntu 6.06 and i have build openssl and freeradius from  
source with these instructions:

sudo auto-apt run ./configure
sudo make
sudo checkinstall

When "make" freeradius i have some warning about openssl and launching  
the server the error is always the same:

rlm_eap: Failed to link EAP-Type/tls: rlm_eap_tls.so: cannot open  
shared object file: No such file or directory

How can i do???? Help me, please...
