  Sorry, that should be "proxy-reply", not "proxy_reply".

  Again, the debug output makes it clear what is happening:

  Yup.  That's a typo.

  i.e. nothing.

  Nothing doesn't match the string "255.255.255.254".

  Again, reading the debug output helps.  There is no magic required to
see a WARNING, and conclude that maybe something is wrong.
