I am a freeradius newbie.

I have configured Freeradius 1.1.7 on a Debian/Linux system. When I give the
command radisud -X i get the following errors:

radiusd.conf[636] Failed to link to module 'rlm_unix': rlm_unix.a: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
radiusd.conf[1971] Unknown module "unix".
radiusd.conf[1931] Failed to parse authenticate section.

I have tried searching the previous posts and read the outputs of the
commands: ./configure, make and make install. I have not been able to debug
this so far. Can somebody please help me out with this?
