  You can technically stick a pencil up your nose.  That doesn't mean
it's a good idea.

  The only reason to use 1.1.8 is that you were *already* using version
1 for the last 10 years, and you don't want to upgrade.

  But... any time you ask questions about version 1, the answer will be
"upgrade".  Version 1.1.8 was released 5 years ago.  It's no longer
supported.
