Ok, problem has been passed on to the Moonshot folks. Looks like there was not sufficient error handling for lookup failures/retries and the thread then pops its clogs. The full bt is still available if you want it.

That said, it's apparently resolved in libtr 2.0, so it should go away on those upgrades.
