You need to change your list subscription option to be "regular", not
"digest".

Unless you do a serious amount of content tidying, replying to digests
results in a complete mess. But the biggest problem is it breaks
everyone else's message threading, which is really annoying, as well as
changing the subject line to something incomprehensible.
