The patch was fixed and added to the CVS but is not yet part of the release branch (at least not part of 1.0.5 - maybe Alan will add it in 1.0.6 or 1.2)
Anyways, you can access it from the CVS or from the freeRADIUS bug repository at:
http://bugs.freeradius.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112
