the mysql server is running, 2 websites uses it, and the radius uses the same credentials to log in.

...and what does the MySQL server output show?   forget the FreeRADIUS for a second
here and check the MySQL part of it - have you added the right user priviledges to
the MySQL?  is the server running? etc
