&gt;I sort of agree, but that would break any existing implementations where the home_server has A and AAAA records but is not listening on it&#39;s V6 address, so it&#39;s really not a good idea.<br>

They need to either fix their server or remove the AAAA address.  People will simply continue to do stupid things and wonder why other things break or blame IPv6 <br>
