Did someone (Alan?) already file an application to Google? I don't see 
FreeRADIUS and the ideas page linked from http://coge.google.com/soc/
According to the Mentor FAQ, #7, http://code.google.com/soc/mentorfaq.html#7
a project admin has to apply for inclusion with the Google folks.
