I finally had some time to do some testing on FreeBSD.

Some things have changed, for sure.

Isn't it redundant to require ;

Auth-Type := Crypt-Local
Crypt-Password == "..."
 for encrypted passwords and

Auth-Type := Local
User-Password == "..."
 for clear text passwords?

Auth-Type:=Local used to work with User-Password
for clear text and Crypt-Password for encrypted

I remember vaguely there was some discussion about this
or NT-Passwords and SHA-Passwords but I can't seem to find it.

It will make transitioning to or from clear text passwords
a bit more difficult.
