Hi Alan,

(gdb) print * (THREAD_HANDLE*) arg
$2 = {prev = 0x815cfe8, next = 0x0, pthread_id = 3048315808, thread_num

0x0}

According to the gdb trace, self->request is NULL.
When i look at the code, its already set to NULL
a few lines before (line 500 at threads.c)
