  Because your system does not have a static version of libgdbm
installed.  Fix that.  It is NOT a FreeRADIUS problem.

  It may take a fair amount of effort to install static versions of all
of the libraries needed by FreeRADIUS.  See your local OS documentation
for how to do this.
