  Hmm... an SVN copy of a CVS repository.

  I'm going to move the PAM module to git.  At that point, you can use
github:

http://github.com/guides/fork-a-project-and-submit-your-modifications

  Then any changes can be easily pulled.  Git will also record that the
change was done by you, and not by anyone else.
