  Err... real soon now?

  I'll see if I can put up a test "tar" file this week.  Or, people can
try git "v2.1.x" branch.

  If there are no major complaints, 2.1.9 could be out next week.  The
"ChangeLog" is up to date.  The only *major* change is that the
"configure" scripts have been regenerated.
