and possibly fixing the issue... git pull.

I see why the original developer used a global ring buffer now for log messages. It is apparently, not possible, to set per connection logging context data.

This commit uses thread local storage to set the active connection, which is used in the libcassandra logging callback.

If there's no active connection, the server just writes to the main server log.
