FreeRadius Authentication

Hi,
I have installed FreeRadius, and would like to know what is the best 
way to connect with a mobile client using dell AP with the basic 
configuration. That is no security, encryption etc. Currently, 
FreeRadius just sits there waiting and i am able to get to the 
unsecured network without any interference from the server, although AP 
has been configured to look at the radius server.

Second, question is how to enable OpenSSL after FreeRadius has been 
installed.
