Question about Multiple-valued attributes

Hi
Is it possible to catch Multiple-valued attributes through a C program?
I can fetch, for example, User-Name attribute by calling USER_NAME = getenv
(USER_NAME);
but how should I fetch something like Cisco-AVPair?
