In all probability, you're attempting to use dictionaries which your 
version of pppd+radius plugin+radiusclient can't parse.

For example, the built-in radiusclient in the ppp 2.4.4 source tarball 
*CANNOT* read the format FreeRadius uses:

vendor Microsoft 311
begin-vendor Microsoft
attribute name number type
end-vendor Microsoft

You need to use dictionaries compatible with the radiusclient version 
you have. For example, the ones that come with it.
