Hi, thanks for your reply.
I did try changing 'shell' to NAS-Prompt-User and Login, neither made any
difference, but I have not tried Administrative-User..

You probably want
Service-Type := Administrative-User
or
Service-Type := NAS-Prompt-User
for less privileges.
