FreeRADIUS 2 not listening on right port

Fedora 9 did change a lot of things from 8. It's also the first version
where they went to the 2.0 freeradius family. The release their RPM is
using is 2.0.2 I think.

as, no doubt, one of my systems will be FC9 in a short
while I could look att his - what exactly should I be
looking for? i'll dig around for the new features
and changes they've made.
