freeradius mysql configuration problem

hi everyone,
thanks for the sugestions.
i have installed rlm_sql from the freeradius folder.
subsequently,the freeradius process does start without any hitch.
the "$include sql.conf " statement in radiusd.conf *is* uncommented.

$PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/mysql/bin",the output of the command "./configure |
grep mysql_config" still remains as follows:

I am not able to conclude whether mysql support has been completely
installed.Please can anyone help me out?

Is it possible to use mysql support only for accounting purposes without
using it for authentication and authorization purposes?
