how to change "comp_name\\uid" to JUST uid?

Log you provided is useless. If you don't know which parts are important -
post the whole thing.

Well, that's how Windows work. Why - ask Bill.

So, don't use Windows logon. There is no sense in using it if you are not
authenticating against AD.
