Proxy-Accounting problems

I've configured Freradius (2.1.7) to proxy certain realms to another box,
and generally things are working as expected.

Running TCPDUMP, I see:

Accounting request proxied to foreign server, Accounting response received
from foreign server.
Response packet was received, was not firewalled or otherwise blocked.

However, when I issue status requests to my freeradius server, it clearly
claims there are zero proxy accounting responses.

        FreeRADIUS-Total-Proxy-Accounting-Requests = 2302
        FreeRADIUS-Total-Proxy-Accounting-Responses = 0
