  Upgrading won't help.

  It's packaged as "freeradiusd" on those platforms.

  And I *really* wish Debian would remove those old RADIUS servers.
They haven't been maintained for 5+ years.

  Fix that.  Do NOTHING else until that's fixed.

  Ask the Samba people how their software works.
