I'm actually following that one, it's very helpful, however I keep running into problems that aren't covered.

I thought I was running it as root (root at hd), and I also used sudo just to be sure (not too confident on Ubuntu's root system).
Let me know if that's not the case.
Also another thing I forgot to mention is this time the basic radtest fails.
