Multiple FreeRadius servers with one PostgreSQL backend

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to create a horizontally scalable VPN service: a lot of
IPSEC nodes with FreeRadius server for EAP-auth and accounting.
FreeRadius backend is a PostgreSQL server.

The question is: "Is it possible to run multiple freeradius services
(one on each VPN gateway) with one backend server?"  It makes a
configuration a really much easier, because I do not need to care
about separate radius server performance/scaling and failover - each
VPN node has its own server.
