You just duplicate the block in mods-available, customise it and give it a name.

  mschap {
  ...
  }

becomes

  mschap myothermschap {
  ...
  }

Then you just call 'myothermschap' in authorize/authenticate/etc. as normal.

Just make sure that you don't collide with another module name.
