FreeRadius and multiotp

Hi,
Anyone using multiotp with freeradius to implement two-factor auth?
Their test VM has freeradius 2.x installed, which is fine for testing. I've
set this up and have successfully  "checked" my userid using an OTP and
prefix.

However can't find any reference to what to do when trying to pass
credentials into multiotp via freeradius. Am I just concatenating normal
password with prefix and OTP value?
