  First I'd try the v3.0.x head in GitHub.  There's been a lot changed in the last two years.

  And see doc/bugs for instructions on running gdb, which gets us something more than "segmentation fault".

  If the GitHub branch works, then the issue has been found and fixed.  It's not productive for us to track it down again.

  If the GitHub branch doesn't work, then see doc/bugs again for how to get us more information.
