Hi,
I'm currently using the CentOS Radius packages provided by
https://networkradius.com/packages/ for an OracleLinux 8 x86_64:
Installed Packages
Name : freeradius
Version : 3.0.23
Release : 1
Architecture : x86_64
Size : 8.0 M
Source : freeradius-3.0.23-1.src.rpm
Repository : @System
>From repo : networkradius-Project
Summary : High-performance and highly configurable free RADIUS
server
URL : http://www.freeradius.org/
License : GPLv2+ and LGPLv2+
Description : The FreeRADIUS Server Project is a high performance and
highly configurable
[...]
/etc/logrotate.d/radiusd contains settings outside of a logfile scope.
e.g. su radiusd radiusd
Sadly this affects all other logrotate configs after the radiusd config
file, e.g. samba or sssd. Which now get a permission denied error as
the radiusd user isn't allowed to rotate those logfiles.
As this config file comes from the freeradius package I don't like to
modify it.
Is there any chance that the logrotate config of the package gets
fixed?
Thanks,
Sven
