  You can edit the configuration however you want.  But it probably doesn't make any sense to to that.

  Why not just set up two redis / rediswho / redis_ippool modules?

rediswho_ipv4
rediswho_ipv6

  Configure one to do IPv4, and the other to do IPv6.
