try something like:

if ( &Calling-Station-Id =~ /^([0-9a-f]{2})-([0-9a-f]{2})-([0-9a-f]{2})-([0-9a-f]{2})-([0-9a-f]{2})-([0-9a-f]{2})$/i )

newusername = "%{1}:%{2}:%{3}:%{4}:%{5}:%{6}"
