  About the only thing which could be wrong is that the certificates could expire.

  i.e. if the certificate lifetime is 30 days, after those 30 days have passed, the phone will likely refuse to send the certificates to the server.

  But I would be very surprised if the phone randomly deleted the certificates.  That is a serious bug, which many people would have seen.

  Maybe the users are deleting the certificates.
