Crypt-Password

Hello All,

     I'm using FreeRadius and MySQL 5.7 with Crypt-Password and to 
generate the Crypt Password I'm using MySQL ENCRYPT function with salt.

     Now I'm trying to go to MySQL 8 and ENCRYPT function is deprecated!

     What I need to do to generate a salt password for freeradius?

     Any hint is apreciated.
