communication problem between Freeradius and MYSQL

Well,

   some more info would be needed right?
Freeradius version, mysql version, error returned.

Also try to connect from the server where you run freeradius to the 
mysql server with mysql client to make sure it works (with the 
credentials and database you use to connect in FR).
