Issue with 3.2.6 - dies/stops serving but is still running/listening on port

Trying to move from 3.0 to 3.2 using 3.2.6
Will this patch only be relevant for installations with TLS enabled?

Rebuilt with the patch and so far been up for 8 hours with no recurrence.
Will continue to monitor but looks good.
