   The concept is something cute, plus an acknowledgement that v4 is becoming a multi-armed "octopus".  It does RADIUS, TACACS+, DNS, DHCPv4, DHCPv6, VMPS, LDAP sync, and many more.  All in the same process, all at the same time.

  There is a bit of a "do everything" attitude.  The DHCPv4 work got added to v2 because I was tired of running a DHCP server which had no support for policies.  It was easier to add DHCPv4 to FreeRADIUS than to try to "fix" a DHCP server.
