$ make distclean
$ ./configure ...

  Sorry... doing massive commits, and occasionally forgetting things.

  Also, now see:

$ man vmpsd
$ man vmpsd.conf

  And see the simple example at the tail end of vmpsd.conf.

  It can send/receive VMPS packets, so long as you're willing to write
all of the logic in the new configuration unlanguage. :)
