EAP-PSK

Hi, I just wondering what's the best way to get EAP-PSK working with freeRadius. I know that using eap2 and hostap can achieve this. But looks like for years no other people updating this, that it's on a very old version. I'm wondering can I modify one of the eap module, for example EAP-MD5, to achieve this? Any adviser is appreciated.
