Just use ldap.authorize (section override) in the virtual server.

If you *really* want to be able to call ldap in post-proxy, you can also do

policy {
	ldap.post-proxy {
		ldap.authorize
		# Special magic post-proxy things
	}
}

And then

post-proxy {
	ldap
}
