FWIW we're running a specific git hash post-3.0.11. I would be more comfortable on a more widely-deployed release.
OTOH if 3.0.x is end-of-line, I'll consider other possibilities.
2.x is end-of-life, 3.0.x is just stable and the current recommended version. I'm guessing AlanD is just busy (aren't we all :-( ).
