Do anyone know which berkeley database version is compatible with openLDAP 2.3.17??

Im trying to compile the openldap2.3.17 with bdb-4.0 which is giving incompatibility error.

Any earliest reply will be of great help.

according to the openldap FAQ, the prerequisite version of BDB is 4.2 but who ever bothers checking the documentation eh? ;-) alan
