Hi Im checking a server with freeradius 2.1.10 and Im having problems validating. In this case I discovered how logs pass the validation process with mschapv2 without asking to the user username and password, and taking local client username how the user. The first step checking EAP goes well, but now second step changes withouth aparently reason. Any idea? Which file controls this? radiusd.conf? I’m not really sure what that means. MS-CHAP verification is done with a name and password. If MS-CHAP succeeds, it’s because the server has been configured with a name and password for that user.

That doesn’t happen. Run the server in debugging mode to see why the user is authenticated. Alan DeKok.
