Hi List I wanted to use Freeradius as a AA (Authentication & Authorization) not much into Accounting. Just want it just as an "entry point" for outside engineers based on time limit. I have already test it with Freeradius and it works perfectly. Wanted to know if in your opinion it is a good strategy to use Freeradius as I want it to be or you would recommend some other tool. I'd like to know why you're asking us if we recommend the software we wrote. No, we don't. Use NPS. Really? Alan DeKok.

As I mention --> I have already test it with Freeradius and it works perfectly, and since day 1 it has been the preference tool. Freeradius is the tool that is on production system doing AA. Just as a curiosity as I wanted to know if to cross a pond I needed an aircraft carrier. NPS .... :S This email is confidential and may be subject to privilege. It /was/ a bit of a weird question...

FreeRADIUS is tiny compared to a lot of software out there these days. If it works, what's the problem? That's nice.

You didn't ask that. You asked the FreeRADIUS people if we would recommend FreeRADIUS. That's... weird. Alan DeKok.
