Do you specifically mean Microsoft SQL server?

Take a look at:

raddb/sql/mssql.conf

...in newer versions of the server source code.

The instructions you reference *may* work, or may not. There's a lot of bad FreeRadius info on the web, and we don't use Microsoft SQL so I can't verify them. Perhaps someone else can.
