I am very new to freeradius. On running radiusd -X I get "radiusd: Cannot get ID for group radiusd: No such file or directory" Can you please suggest how to resolve this.

not a freeradius question - this is unix 101 - your config says to run the server as user radiusd and group radiusd - but your OS hasnt got that group defined. check eg /etc/group file and make the required change alan
